Why is there a Membership Fee?

When Every Mom started, the goal was to create a safe space in Coweta where progressive moms could show up as they are and feel genuinely welcomed.

We originally hoped it could be free, but as we began organizing gatherings, reserving spaces, and building out the structure of the group, we quickly realized what it would actually cost to do this well. Venue rentals, event materials, printing, software tools, and operational expenses add up quickly.

It became clear that sustaining this personally would be far outside of one person’s budget. If Every Mom was going to be consistent and longterm, the commitment needed to be shared.

Every Mom is entirely volunteer run. No one on leadership is paid and membership funds are not income for individuals. They exist solely to support the operations and growth of the community.

What Your Membership Supports

Your $100 annual membership allows us to:

• A cozy and fun area to meet once per month
• Fun Activities such as junk journaling, bouquet making, fun photobooths, our annual year books and more!
• Maintain the tools and systems behind the scenes that keep the group organized and legal
• Activities for kids to stay busy such as stepping stones, spinning chairs, play foam blocks, pogo sticks, and craft materials

It also allows us to plan responsibly for future growth. One longterm goal is to offer paid childcare during Friday events.

Every dollar goes back into the stability and development of the group.

Why Membership Matters Beyond Cost

A membership model creates a level of commitment and it helps ensure that the people in this space are here to participate thoughtfully and contribute to a respectful environment.

We are intentional about protecting emotional safety and Every Mom exists to be welcoming and inclusive for moms of all backgrounds and beliefs. That requires stewardship.

Membership helps us maintain that standard. It creates accountability, and reduces the likelihood of people engaging disruptively in ways that could make the space feel less safe.

Why We Chose This Model

Free groups are easy to launch but sustainable communities require planning and shared investment.

Membership allows us to build a full year of programming with clarity. It reduces burnout and ensures this space does not depend on one person absorbing the financial responsibility.

If You Have Questions

That is fair and transparency matters to us. If you want to understand how funds are allocated or how decisions are made, we welcome that conversation.

Every Mom was built to be steady, inclusive, and safe.

Shared investment helps protect that.
